Heart of the Redwoods  Nickel Tour   Fortuna, California August 2-5, 2009      This four day Register Tour is planned to be the quality and scope of a HCCA National Tour with driving of the cars everyday on country roads, historic areas, the beautiful coastline and through majestic redwood groves. This tour is open to members HCCA whose automobiles fall into the requirements of the Nickel Era Register. Headquartered in Fortuna in the heart of the Historic Redwoods Accommodations for tourists, which include Best Western Hotel (Approx $105 per night) and full service Riverwalk RV park next door (approx $40.00 per night). Ample parking for tow vehicles, RV’s and trailers. Number of Participants are limited. Apply and Register early Tour itinerary includes: This is a driving tour which includes some 80-100 mile days. Tour includes Old Town Eureka and the Eureka Warf, surrounding atmosphere of music from old calliope, driving through the ancient andamazing redwood trees, driving along the Lost Coast, visit Ferndale and the Victorian Village, Cape Town and theold stagecoach stop, plus other points of interest.
